SberCard credit card from Sberbank

About the card
"SberCard" is a convenient credit card from SberBank. It is ideal for those who do not like borrowing money until payday, but sometimes have to pay for purchases on credit. Among its advantages are no maintenance fees, free transfers and cash withdrawals in the first month from the date of signing the agreement, and the possibility of receiving cashback of up to 30% of the purchase amount.
Terms
The bank does not charge a fee for issuing primary and additional cards, nor for reissuing them regardless of the reason—whether due to expiration, loss, change of personal data, and so on. In addition, there is no card maintenance fee.
As an additional service, you can enable transaction alerts. This service is always free. For an additional fee, you can also change the monthly payment date. The cost of this service is a one-time fee of 300 RUB.
The credit limit on the SberCard ranges from 10,000 to 1 million RUB. The bank determines and sets it individually for each borrower.
The maximum grace period for the credit card is 120 days. It applies only to purchases paid for with the card—the bank charges interest specified in the tariff for cash withdrawals and transfers of credit funds.
To avoid overdue payments on your credit card and maintain the grace period, you must make mandatory minimum payments. Their amount is 2% of the total debt.
The bank does not charge a fee for paying for purchases with the card within the grace period. Outside the interest-free period, Sberbank charges:
- 9.8% per annum on purchases made online on the SberMegaMarket marketplace;
- 27.6% on all other purchases, cash withdrawals, transfers of credit funds, and equivalent operations.
If you miss the mandatory minimum payment, Sberbank charges a late penalty. Its amount is 36% per annum of the debt amount.
Free cash withdrawals and transfers of credit funds are provided in the first 30 days from the contract date. Afterward, a fee of 3% of the transaction amount, but not less than 390 RUB, will apply.
By paying with a credit card, you can earn cashback of up to 30% of the purchase amount at Sberbank's partner stores. The accrued bonuses can be spent on full or partial payment for goods and services in the Sber ecosystem services.
In addition, all holders of the SberPrime+ subscription receive 5% cashback on purchases in cafes and restaurants and taxis, 10% on gas station purchases, and up to 10% on SberMarket purchases.
Borrowers who meet the following requirements can obtain a credit card:
- are citizens of the Russian Federation;
- have permanent or temporary registration within the territory of Russia;
- aged 18 to 70.
To get a credit card, you only need to provide a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. In addition, the bank may request additional documents to confirm income and employment.
