You can unlink a phone number from a bank card using almost any possible method: via the SberBank mobile app, through a terminal or ATM, by entering a USSD command, via an SMS message, by calling the hotline, at a SberBank branch, or by changing your tariff plan. Let's look at each option in a bit more detail.

Through the mobile app

To unlink via the SberBank mobile app, you will need to:

• log in to the app;
• tap the notification icon in the top right corner of the screen;
• tap the three dots in the top right corner;
• select "Notification Settings";
• select the card you are interested in;
• tap on the phone;
• select "Delete phone number".

Via a Sberbank ATM

To unlink your phone number from your card via a terminal or ATM, follow these steps:

• insert your card into the device;
• enter your PIN code;
• in the menu that opens, select the "Mobile Bank" section;
• press "Disable".

Via a USSD command

In this case, you need to enter the following combination on your phone: "*900*04#", and press the call button. Once Mobile Bank is disabled, you will receive a corresponding notification.

 

Note.

You can link your phone back to your bank card in the exact same way. You will need to enter the command: "*900*05*1234#", where 1234 represents the last four digits of the card number.

Via SMS message

To do this via SMS, send a message with the text "BLOKIROVKAUSLUG" to the number 900. If you did everything correctly, a few minutes later you will receive an SMS from the bank notifying you that the Mobile Bank service will soon be disabled.

By hotline phone

To disable the service via the hotline, dial 900 or +7 (800) 555-55-50, provide the operator with your details, and state that you want to unlink your phone number from your bank card.

At a Sberbank branch

Choose the nearest Sberbank branch and visit it during business hours. Tell the employee that you would like to disable the Mobile Bank service and confirm your identity with your passport.

Via tariff change

To switch to the Economical tariff, send a message to 900 with the text: "Ekonom1234", where 1234 represents the last four digits of the bank card number. Confirm the action with the SMS code.

How to temporarily unlink a phone number from a SberBank card

To temporarily decline the service, send a message to 900 with the text "BLOKIROVKAUSLUG". You can also do this by calling the hotline or visiting a Sberbank branch. Once you do this, you will temporarily stop receiving notifications about transactions and money deposits.

Note.

Please note that temporarily declining Mobile Bank does not cancel monthly fees. This means you will still pay for the service even during its temporary suspension.

How to link a new number to a bank card

If you do not want to completely cancel the Mobile Bank service, but simply need to change your phone number to a new one, you can do this in two ways:

1. Via a terminal or ATM. To do this, insert your card into the device and enter your PIN code. In the menu that appears, select the "Mobile Bank" section and press "Change number", enter the new phone number, and confirm the actions.
