"UnionPay Diamond" debit card from Gazprombank

Card issuance is paid. You will need to pay a one-time fee of 5 000 RUB. Gazprombank currently has a special promotion running. You can get a refund for the card issuance fee. To do this, you need to:

1. Apply for the "UnionPay Diamond" debit card between June 5, 2024, and January 31, 2025.
2. Deposit 5 000 RUB to the account to cover the issuance fee.
3. Receive a 5 000 RUB cashback by meeting one of the following conditions: making purchases of 50 000 RUB or more per month in the first 3 months of service, or maintaining a balance of 100 000 RUB or more for the first 90 days of service.

As for maintenance, it is free only for the first month from the card receipt date. Afterwards, the fee is 2 990 RUB per month. However, you can use the card for free if you meet one of the following conditions:

1. Pay for purchases in the amount of 50,000 RUB or more per month and maintain a minimum balance in Gazprombank accounts of 1,000,000 RUB or more per month.
2. Maintain a minimum balance in Gazprombank accounts of 2,000,000 RUB or more per month.
3. Pay for purchases in the amount of 50,000 RUB or more per month and receive a salary on the card in the amount of 250,000 RUB or more per month.

As an additional service, you can enable alerts for deposits and withdrawals. This option is always free.

You can top up your debit card using standard methods:

• with cash at Gazprombank ATMs and cash desks;
• via transfers from other banks by card number;
• via transfers from other banks by phone number through the FPS.

The cash withdrawal terms are more than favorable. You can withdraw cash without commission at any bank ATM worldwide without limits.

However, the transfer terms are not very favorable. You can transfer money for free between your own accounts up to 30 000 000 RUB per month, as well as to other Gazprombank clients. For transfers to third-party credit institutions by card number, you will have to pay a fee of 1.5%, with a minimum of 50 RUB.

There are four loyalty programs for this card: "Smart Cashback", "Clear Cashback", "Travel", and "Aeroflot Bonus". You can switch between these bonus programs every month.

Smart Cashback

When choosing this bonus program, you will receive up to 1% on regular purchases and up to 15% on purchases in categories with maximum spending:

• 5% when paying for purchases in the amount of 15,000 to 100,000 RUB per month;
• 10% when paying for purchases in the amount of 100,000 to 200,000 RUB per month;
• 15% when paying for purchases from 200,000 RUB per month.

Simple Cashback

This loyalty program is much simpler. By choosing it, you will only receive 1.5% cashback for all card purchases. But for this, you will have to make purchases in the amount of 15,000 RUB or more per month. The maximum cashback amount you can receive is 20,000 RUB per month.

Travel

When you choose this bonus program, Gazprombank will accrue:

• 3 miles for every 100 RUB spent when paying for purchases in the amount of 15,000 to 75,000 RUB per month;
• 4 miles for every 100 RUB spent when paying for purchases in the amount of 75,000 to 150,000 RUB per month;
• 5 miles for every 100 RUB spent on purchases totaling 150,000 RUB or more per month;
• up to 11 miles for every 100 RUB spent on the Gazprombank-Travel website.

Aeroflot Bonus

If you choose this loyalty program, you will receive:

• 2 miles for every 100 RUB spent without the Privilegii Premium service;
• 5 miles for every 100 RUB spent with the Privilegii Premium service.

Also, regardless of the bonus program you choose, Gazprombank will award up to 50% cashback for purchases at partner stores.

The debit card does not provide for interest on the account balance. However, if you have savings and want to earn a small income on them, we recommend opening a savings account with a yield of up to 20.5% per annum.

This interest rate applies for the first 2 months from the opening date, provided this is your first account with Gazprombank in the last 90 days. Thereafter, the maximum yield is 13.5% per annum.

• free top-ups at Gazprombank ATMs, via transfers from other banks by card number and phone number through the SBP;
• free cash withdrawals at any bank ATMs worldwide without limits;

Cons:

• paid card issuance;
• paid maintenance if conditions are not met;
• high fees for cash withdrawals and transfers when limits are exceeded;
• no interest on the card balance.
