About the card

"MIR Supreme" is a premium credit card from Russian Standard Bank. Cardholders receive a 24/7 personal assistant, free insurance coverage of up to EUR 200,000, worldwide business lounge access, as well as increased cashback and installment plans of up to 24 months.

Terms

The card can be obtained for free. Its maintenance will remain free if the cardholder makes purchases totaling at least 50,000 RUB per month. Otherwise, the bank will charge a monthly maintenance fee of 499 RUB. Additionally, the borrower can subscribe to transaction and deposit alerts. This service is always free.

An additional card can be issued for the main "MIR Supreme" credit card. Its maintenance will cost the cardholder 2,500 RUB per year.

The offered credit limit ranges from 100,000 to 600,000 RUB. Russian Standard Bank determines the available amount for each borrower individually.

The grace period for purchases is up to 55 days; its duration depends on the exact timing of the cardholder's transactions. In addition, the bank provides 150 days of zero interest for refinancing credit card debt from other institutions. Borrowers can also take advantage of free installments of up to 12 months for purchases at Russian Standard Bank partner stores, and up to 24 months with an issuance fee.

The mandatory minimum payment on the "MIR Supreme" credit card is 3% of the debt amount. Making this payment is necessary to maintain the grace period and avoid overdue payments on the card.

The bank charges no commission on purchases and debt repayments made within the grace period. Outside of it, the overpayment for the borrower ranges from 11.9% to 24.4% per annum.

In the event of a delayed monthly payment on the "MIR Supreme" credit card, Russian Standard Bank charges a penalty. It amounts to 0.1% of the overdue debt, but not more than 20% per annum.

The bank offers free cash withdrawals at any ATMs during the first 30 days from the credit card issuance date. Afterward, the borrower will have to pay a transaction fee of 4.9% of the amount plus 490 RUB. The exact same fee applies to credit funds transfers.

By paying with the "MIR Supreme" credit card, the borrower can earn cashback on purchases:

  • 1.5% of the spent amount for regular purchases;
  • 7% for payments at Novikov Group, Ginza, WRF, Rappoport, and Pinsky&Co restaurants;
  • up to 30% for purchases through the MIR loyalty program;
  • up to 70% for purchases at Russian Standard Bank partner stores.

Applicants who meet the following requirements can apply for the "MIR Supreme" credit card:

  • citizenship of the Russian Federation;
  • having permanent registration in the region of the bank's presence;
  • aged from 21 to 75 years old.

To obtain a credit card from Russian Standard Bank, you must provide a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, as well as a SNILS or another identity document.

Pros Cons
The bank does not charge a fee for issuing the card or for its maintenance, provided the cardholder meets simple free-maintenance conditions. If the free-maintenance conditions are not met, the cardholder will need to pay 499 RUB per month for card maintenance.
The bank provides a high credit limit on the card—up to 600,000 RUB. It may be lower as well—the available amount depends on individual factors. The bank charges a high interest rate outside the grace period—from 11.9% to 24.4% per annum.
The bank offers a grace period of up to 55 days for purchases, up to 150 days for refinancing credit cards from other banks, and up to 24 months for installment plans.  You can get a credit card starting at the age of 21.
The cardholder does not have to pay a cash withdrawal fee for 30 days from the date of card issuance.
By paying with the credit card, the cardholder can earn cashback of up to 70% of the purchase value.
The borrower can get a credit card using two identity documents without income verification.
If necessary, the bank can deliver the card via courier to the client's home or any other convenient address.

I applied for the MIR Supreme card, have been using it for a year. I like the large cashback, especially on non-cash payments, and auto-payments - very convenient. At first, it seemed that the interest rates were high, but thanks to cashback and loyalty, it turns out to be profitable. Customer service is top-notch, they will always help. I recommend it!
