About the card
The Sovcombank debit card with interest on the account balance is a convenient payment tool. With it, you can pay for purchases in stores and online, withdraw cash, transfer money to other banks, earn cashback, and receive up to 15% per annum on your own funds kept in the account. In essence, such a debit card is an alternative to a savings account. We will review the current tariffs for 2024 and explain how to apply for one.
Terms
You can get the card for free — you won't have to pay an issuance fee. There are also no maintenance fees, as the card is completely free.
If you want to receive notifications about deposits and withdrawals, you can activate the corresponding service. It is also always free.
You can top up your card at Sovcombank ATMs and cash desks without any limits or commissions. You can also deposit money into your account at ATMs of other banks up to 150,000 RUB per month. If you exceed this limit, you will need to pay a 0.5% fee, up to a maximum of 1,500 RUB.
You can withdraw cash for free at Sovcombank ATMs and cash desks up to 150,000 RUB per month. You can also do this at ATMs and cash pickup points of other banks up to 150,000 RUB per month. In both cases, if you exceed the limits, you will need to pay a 1.9% fee.
If you withdraw cash exclusively at ATMs of other banks, you will have to pay a fee of 99 RUB for each transaction up to 3,000 RUB.
You can transfer money to other banks for free by phone number via the Faster Payments System (FPS) up to 150,000 RUB per month. If you exceed this limit, you will need to pay a 0.5% fee, up to a maximum of 1,500 RUB.
Transfers by card number are subject to a fee. The fee is 2%, with a minimum of 99 RUB and a maximum of 1,500 RUB.
This debit card does not provide cashback for purchases.
In addition to purchase cashback, you can also earn interest on your account balance:
- 15% per annum for the first 3 months on a balance from 50,000 to 400,000 RUB, provided you did not previously hold other bank products.
- 6% per annum for the first 3 months on a balance from 50,000 to 400,000 RUB, if you are an existing bank customer.
- 6% per annum from the 4th month on a balance from 50,000 to 400,000 RUB.
Pros:
- free primary card issuance;
- free maintenance with no conditions attached;
- free top-ups at Sovcombank ATMs and cash desks without any limits, and up to 150,000 per month at other banks' devices;
- free cash withdrawals at Sovcombank ATMs and cash desks up to 150,000 RUB per month, and at other banks' devices and cash pickup points up to 150,000 RUB per month;
- free transfers to clients of other banks by phone number via the Faster Payments System up to 150,000 RUB per month;
- up to 15% per annum on the balance of own funds.
Cons:
- high fees for cash withdrawals and transfers when exceeding limits;
- no cashback on purchases.
How to apply
The easiest way to apply for a debit card with cashback is to submit an online application on the lender's website. To do this, you need to:
- Click "Get card" on the debit card page with interest on balance.
- Provide your full name, mobile phone number, and date of birth.
- Check the box.
- Click the "Get card" button.
- Enter the code from the text message.
After you submit the completed application form, a financial institution representative will contact you to guide you through the further processing of the card.
If you do not want or are unable to apply online, you can do so at a bank branch. To do this, find the nearest office of the lender and visit it during business hours, bringing your Russian passport with you.
Rates
