The Central Bank increased the limit for a single transaction via the Faster Payments System
Single-transaction limit
The Central Bank has increased the limit for a single transaction carried out through the Faster Payments System to one million RUB. The corresponding decree came into effect on May 1 of this year.
According to the regulator, this measure will allow Faster Payments System users to conduct transactions for larger amounts. Meanwhile, retail chains will be able to more actively encourage their customers to pay via the FPS.
All other transfer parameters remain unchanged.
