I took out small amounts from this company, MigCredit, 4 times during the lockdown. I applied for the loan online from home, and the money was deposited onto my bank card. The first time, I waited about 2 hours for loan approval, but the subsequent times they approved it in 15 minutes because I paid everything back on time. Everything is fine, but the calls with constant reminders to pay back the loan get annoying).

I have always been amazed by the greed of microcredit organizations; giving people money at 365% per annum is pure audacity. I want to understand MFIs—the loan amounts are small, so you have to try hard to earn anything. But if the interest rates were lower, people would apply more often, and it could create competition for banks.
