About the card
Since 2022, all social benefits, pensions, and public sector salaries can only be received on Mir payment system cards. In addition, cards from our national payment system are one of the few options for cashless payment and cash withdrawal abroad. If you are considering which card to apply for, the Mir credit card from Russian Standard Bank is a profitable option for you.
Terms
The card can be obtained for free. The bank also charges no monthly maintenance fee if the cardholder makes purchases totaling at least 15,000 RUB per month. If this condition is not met, using the card will cost 99 RUB per month. Additionally, the cardholder can enable transaction and expense notifications. The cost of this service is 89 RUB per month. Notifications are free for the first month from the card issue date.
The cardholder will need to pay 300 RUB per year for the maintenance of an additional card.
The available credit limit for the Mir credit card ranges from 30,000 to 300,000 RUB. The bank determines the amount for each borrower on an individual basis.
The grace period is up to 55 days — its duration depends on the date of the purchase. In addition, the cardholder can pay off debts on credit cards issued by other banks with an interest-free period of up to 150 days.
At Russian Standard Bank, the mandatory minimum payment is 3% of the debt amount. It must be paid to avoid the termination of the grace period and the accrual of late penalties.
The bank does not charge interest on purchases made within the grace period. Outside of it, the rate ranges from 11.9% to 35.4% per annum for purchasing goods and services cashless, as well as for cash withdrawals and borrowed funds transfers.
If the mandatory monthly payment is not received on time, the bank charges a penalty. Its amount is 0.1% per day of the debt amount, but not more than 20% per annum.
The holder of the Mir credit card does not need to pay a commission for cash withdrawals at ATMs of any credit institutions in the first 30 days from the card issue date. Afterwards, the fee is 4.9% of the transaction amount plus 490 RUB. Exactly the same commission is provided for transfers of borrowed funds.
Russian Standard Bank offers to choose one of three options. In the first case, cashback for purchases is accrued as follows:
- 1% of the spent amount is credited by the bank for regular purchases;
- 3% — for purchases in your favorite category with total spending of up to 30 thousand rubles per month;
- 5% — for purchases in your favorite category with total spending of 30 thousand rubles per month or more.
In the second case, the bank awards cashback of 1.5% of the spent amount for any purchases made with the card. And in the third case — from 1% to 5% for purchases in increased cashback categories.
In addition, the borrower can receive up to 25% cashback through the Mir loyalty program and up to 70% of the spent amount at Russian Standard Bank partner stores.
