Long-term loan as an alternative to a credit
Short-term and long-term loans: what is the difference?
A long-term loan is a bilateral signed agreement under which one party provides the other with a sum of money for personal use with the mandatory condition of repayment including interest. The difference from a standard microloan is that the debt repayment period is significantly extended.
A short-term loan is significantly lower, and its repayment terms range from 7 to 30 days, which is also formalized by an agreement.

Features of long-term loans
From a formal standpoint, long-term loans resemble bank loans. The borrower goes through a rigorous application process and then repays the debt in installments. The client should agree on the frequency of payments in writing when arranging such a microloan.
Because the amounts provided for long-term microloans are larger than for standard loans, microfinance credit companies try to mitigate their risks through high interest rates. This is where the main disadvantage of long-term loans and microfinance organization credits lies.

Where to get a long-term loan
Microloans are the most common financial service provided by absolutely all microfinance organizations. However, not every such organization deals with long-term microloans (loans).
Therefore, if you plan to borrow a fairly large amount of money as part of a long-term loan service, you should approach the search for a suitable microcredit company (MCC) with special care.
Today on the Internet you can find anything your heart desires, including choosing a good MCC. Basic information about MCCs can be found on informational and analytical portals that compare offers from various financial organizations. They usually reflect: the maximum allowed loan amount, interest rate, terms, and main requirements. Once you have made a choice in favor of a specific MCC, you can immediately go to its official website and submit an online application.

Main requirements for the borrower
Since the amount for a long-term loan is higher, the MCC will require the borrower to specify the purpose of the loan. For example, if you are a budding entrepreneur and are taking out a loan to create and "promote" your business, you can take out a long-term loan for a legal entity for business needs.
In addition to explaining the feasibility of such a microloan, you will need a special package of documents. In addition to passport data, this must include employment information and a certificate of income, SNILS, INN, and a pension or driver's license (if available).
Documentary proof of the borrower's reliability is only half the battle in this matter. Credit history is the decisive factor. Just like in a bank, the MCC will carefully examine your credit history in the database, so if you have previously taken out loans or credits and made timely payments, you have nothing to fear—a long-term loan will definitely be approved. But if you are not the most exemplary borrower with other financial organizations, a long-term loan may be approved only in exceptional cases (with an inflated interest rate).
How to apply for a long-term loan online
To take out an online loan for a long repayment period, you will need a device connected to the Internet and a little free time.
Choose an MCC and go to its official website. There, you should carefully read all the established rules and offers of the company. Once you have sorted out all the points and agreed to them, you should proceed to registration and create a personal account.
After setting up your account, you can apply for a long-term loan online. To do this, select the corresponding section of the website ("Apply" / "Submit an application" / "Get money"). On the screen, you will see the fields of a universal application form that must be filled out in accordance with the requirements, entering personal data (passport data, phone number, desired amount, method of receiving the loan).
For some time, the system will analyze the data for the client's reliability and solvency, after which you will receive a notification containing information about the approval or rejection of the loan.
If you receive a positive notification, you will then be required to sign an online offer (agreement) detailing the disbursement method, all terms, and the amount including the interest rate for repayment.

Methods of receiving funds within an online long-term loan
An online loan already saves the client's time by not requiring their personal presence at an office (branch), and you can also receive the money in a fast and convenient way.
As a rule, all microfinance organizations (including those providing long-term lending) transfer the borrowed money to bank cards (MIR, VISA, MASTER CARD payment systems) or electronic payment systems (wallets) QIWI, WEB MONEY.
So you should choose the one that is convenient for you and indicate it in the application form (along with the card or wallet number where the funds will be transferred).
